Description
This TER programme will be delivered through a combination of:
• Online modules • Face to face workshops (mostly during school holiday time); and • A 4 week supervised practicum (which can be completed at the school where a teacher is already employed). (for Practicum based participants)
The programme focuses on what teachers need to know and be able to do to teach successfully in the current education environment.
The TER programme covers a wide range of topics including planning and assessment in The New Zealand Curriculum with a strong focus on teaching as inquiry, learning communities, working with priority learners, and cultural competencies.
