Description
Open to all teachers and Teacher Aides. LUNCH PROVIDED (Teacher Aides can apply for Ministry of Education funding under the ‘set category’ to access the 2024-2025 PLD funding for this course)
· Supports teacher aides to recognise and understand common types of anxiety that students of all ages may be experiencing and the triggers that contribute to student anxiety · Examines practical ways to help students with anxiety and explore evidence-based strategies that work through hands-on activities and examples. Teacher aides will be supported to monitor and observe learners to support their health and safety and respond appropriately to children and young people at risk.
